# Creates a prescription to a case

Creates a new prescription on the case, resolving the referenced medication, compound, supply, or offering and attaching any diseases and tags associated with it. Depending on the case's status and the prescription's insurance requirements, this can flag the case for additional approval, tag it for a DoseSpot prior-authorization flow, and queue pharmacy-preference and benefits-check events.
