# Webhook Issues

Use these answers to diagnose common webhook delivery and configuration issues.

<details>

<summary>No events arrive at my webhook endpoint</summary>

Confirm that the webhook is configured for the correct environment.

Sandbox and Live webhooks are configured separately.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I am unsure whether my endpoint handles events correctly</summary>

Use **Test Bench** to send a known sample event to your endpoint.

Confirm that the endpoint receives and handles the event as expected.

</details>

<details>

<summary>A webhook delivery shows as failed</summary>

Check the **Response** field in **Webhook Logs** to see what your endpoint returned.

Fix the underlying issue, then select **Resubmit Webhook** to redeliver the event.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I cannot verify the webhook signature</summary>

Recalculate the signature using the payload and your Secret. Compare the result with the `Signature` header.

Do not use the `Authorization` header for signature verification.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I need to change a webhook's environment</summary>

A webhook's environment is fixed when it is created.

Create a replacement webhook in the required environment. After confirming it works, delete the existing webhook.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mdintegrations.com/help-center/integrations/webhook-issues.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
